What is the advantage of Q_Enable = 2 versus Q_Enable = 1?

Hello,

Following this link (and the linked post on it) I’m not sure what the advantages are to having Q_Enable = 2 versus Q_Enable = 1. It appears like I have to program my transitions in the planner when 2 is active but it happens automatically when I have it set at 1.

I stumbled upon this because I had the same issue that guy had where I had

1 VTOL_takeoff
2 Waypoint
3 Waypoint
4 Waypoint
5 VTOL_land

And it did not transition.

  1. What does Q_Enable = 2 even give me?
  2. If I keep at it Q_Enable = 2, do input the transition after 1 and after 4? Or do I just do after 1?
