Rover 3 weeks into failing to get the rover to follow track

Have you got pre arm checks enabled?

I have tried with checked and unchecked However I have removed the new can bus compass RM3100 and I am able to auto and rtl also when the new compass is plugged in I don’t get any startup chimes and updated the RM3100 FW this morning and it caused more issues, so I have now removed it and gone back to M10 compass.
I am just about re set the parameters for the RTK. what normally happens it see’s two GPS’s then I think the failsafe kicks in.I will update soon if your about.
Thanks.

With pre arm checks enabled does it fail to arm? What reasons does it give?

EKF VARIANCE this happens when I config the RTK as per rtk instruction and it does work I get a solid RTK FIX. but when Armi

ng see pic

you still have prearm checks disabled.

I think they are enabled.
in the failsafe page it saying no GPS but on the HUD its RTK FIX I think its related to the GPS 1 is still being looked at by mission planner

go to all parameters and set ARMING_CHECK:=1.

have you disabled the pixhawks internal compass? I think its a IST8310 on a pixhawk 4.

not sure how to that

can you post a screenshot of the compass page of mission planner? It should list all the compass modules connected to the flight controller.

This is odd haven’t seen empty before

reconnect, its just not loaded parameters.

reboot and reconnect,still blank

No GPS in RED

do you have any external compass modules currently connected to it?

Yes the M10. never seen empty compasses before might set config to defaults

Reset defaults Two compasses showing

I think it must be something to do with the RTK settings from Ardusimple, I have sent the a support request.
Thank very much for all your help.

What RTK settings? That term is too vague.

Likewise, exactly what hardware is in play here? Be specific. Use make and model numbers.

(for example, β€œM10” refers to a series of u-Blox GNSS chips and isn’t a compass…but there could be a compass on a board that also houses an M10 module…so we have no way of knowing what’s going on because you aren’t describing things in the detail required)
