Copying parameters to new autopilot

Hi everyone!
I have set up an autopilot and my quadcopter flies perfectly, but I have recently burned the entry port of the autopilot so I need to change it. Is there anything that I have to be carefull of when I copy the old parameter to the new autopilot (i.e. PID) or everything will be written correctly?

Swapping out for the same autopilot version on the same aircraft, with the same version of Arducopter, you should be good to copy the parameters in. You will want to redo the compass and level calibrations, even though those parameters copy over, they will not be valid. Theoretically, the radio calibration and ESC calibrations should be the same. But I might redo those just for good measure.

Thank you! I think I will redo all the calibrations just to be 100% sure everything is ok

I wonder if we should actually mark parameters as “calibration”
parameters, so ground-control-stations can prompt users as to whether
calibration parameters should be restored or not.
