Copter-3.6.5-rc3 has been released for beta testing and can be downloaded using the ground station’s “Beta Firmware” link. Changes are in the ReleaseNotes and also copied below:
- Pixhawk4 SBUS input and Serial6 pin mapping conflict resolved
This is a very minor change on -rc2 which may slightly improve SBUS reliability on a Pixhawk4 but any feedback on testing is greatly appreciated especially from users of the Pixhawk4.
@rmackay9 question about the new ChibiOS, is it only compatible with Mission Planner?
I don’t know how this works exactly, but I did upgrade to ChibiOS with 3.6.5.rc2 and my cube will no longer connect to QGC, but works fine with Mission Planner.
In the future I intend on using QGC more often so I am just curious
I encountered the same thing. If you are connecting over USB, go to connection settings in QGC and explicitly select the USB connection. Then it works.
