Battery Voltage

I am using a vendor 27000 mAh 22.2V 10C 6S battery but want to buy some backups. Can I use 25000mAh 22.8V 10C 6S1P as a substitute? Are there any effects or downsides to the increase 0.6V?
I can’t imagine… but better safe than sorry.

The 22.8 is a LiPo-HV. You’ll need to make sure your charger can take it to 4.35v/cell, rather than just the 4.2v/cell on a normal lipo.

Double check your ESCs can handle it. Probably can, but worth taking a moment to double check before you smoke expensive parts.

The low voltage alarms will also be slightly different for the HV vs the normal. Depending on how you’re managing that you may want to take it into consideration.

Thanks for the response but here is a stupid question, how do you tell if the ESCs can handle it? Where is that info?

Look up the manufacture’s specs for the ESC.

Thanks Allister. Cant find it. Probably have to take it apart to see, if even that. I will just stick with 22.2V.
I am correct that if I currently have 10C discharge, I can go up to 25C no problem but cannot go down to 5C? Do I have that right?
