Just flown with my Zohd dart 250g.
Actually it wasn’t 250 but 265… Anyway, there is a video of first fly
waw, it’s nice dude.
i want to build a 250g fpv plane too.
but i still confuse with the FC.
what FC do you use ?
Well… This build I used omnibus f4 pro.
Why?
Because it is:
- Cheap
- Relatively lightweight
- Has integrated current sensor
It takes around 50 mah/km in general. Could be lwss
There are several small FC’s suitable. I used a Kakute F7 AIO in a Nano Talon. That might be a bit large for the dart but the non AIO would work. But nothing wrong the Omni F4 Pro!
Unfortunately I cannot find good alternatives for omnibus f4 pro.
Kakute f7 has no power sensor
Matek f405 wing is a bit heavy for tiny builds.
Kakute F7 has current sensing.
PC3 BATT_VOLTAGE_SENS ADC1 SCALE(1)
PC2 BATT_CURRENT_SENS ADC1 SCALE(1)
define default battery setup
define HAL_BATT_VOLT_PIN 13
define HAL_BATT_CURR_PIN 12
define HAL_BATT_VOLT_SCALE 10.1
define HAL_BATT_CURR_SCALE 17.0
Yeah… I meant Kakute F7 mini.
Sorry for misunderstanding
Yea, no 20x20 boards like the mini have current sensing.
Today I was able to fly 40 km with 2200 mah. Great plane!
hello! can you share your PID’s?
Well well…
I’d start from default pids and then run autotune.
If you follow recommendations it works pretty good and give you very reliable pids.
Sharing pids isn’t good idea because it depends on many factors and very individual.
Agree with you. On which level you run autotune? Default 6 or another. I run autotune on default 6 level and it not raise P term higher than 0.3, but in manual tune i can raise it to 0.9 for roll and 0.6 for pitch without oscillation
Well… I used default level of autotune.
Also it is possible to define knob and change P, I or D in the flight.
Zohd250 in smooth weather conditions
Auwsome absolutely brilliant ive got a 250g dart here to try, this has inspired me
It’s nice flyer
Have fun!
Hi Dmytro, what batts and props are you using please, many thank’s
I’m using kit motor+prop and 2s liion 18650 battery.
Have a happy flying
hi, can you share your logs?
