Hi all.
I have seen in the docs, that once the compass has been calibrated, it does not have to be done again, even with location changes.
This is due to the inclusion of a world magnetic model.
To confirm, if I calibrate the compass in South Africa, I will not have to do it again even if moving location to Australia?

True in theory and there’s reports of people successfully doing such things.
Moving that far, I’d probably recalibrate anyway.
Also the world magnetic table was updated in arducopter v 4
