WILL PAY FOR ASSISTANCE: JETSON ORIN nano kit <--> ORANGE CUBEPILOT

Hello everyone,

I’m a mechanical engineer collaborating with a team of pure AI computer vision engineers. We’re a bit lacking in expertise when it comes to Ardu and drone configuration.

We currently have an RC VTOL drone equipped with a SIYI ZT6A camera, an HM30 radio, and an ORANGE CUBEPILOT autopilot. The drone is cool, but we want to integrate a companion computer to enable full autonomy.

I’ve proposed an architecture on slide 4; what are your thoughts? Is there a simpler or better approach? It’s important to note that ultimately, we want either the companion computer to take control as the master of the autopilot, or in manual mode, for the ground station to have control of the drone.

In essence, I’m seeking a clear understanding of the best architecture. If any of you can bring this vision (connecting the hardware and making all the system capable to communicate to each other)

Thanks in advance for your support, folks.
