Wheel encoder connection

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THE ENCODER CONNECTION TO THE PIXHAWK CUBE?

I HAVE MADE CONNECTIONS AS PER THIS LINK AND SET THE PARAMETERS AS MENTIONED IN THE LINK. http://ardupilot.org/rover/docs/wheel-encoder.html

IN THE ABOVE LINK THEY HAVE MENTIONED ONLY ABOUT CONNECTING THE A & B WIRES OF THE ENCODER. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW SHOULD THE REST OF THE WIRES FROM THE ENCODER TO BE CONNECTED TO.
MY ENCODER HAS 4 WIRES PURPLE, BLUE, GREEN, BROWN; OF THESE WIRES BLUE IS PINOUT A, AND PURPLE IN PINOUT B WHICH ARE CONNECTED TO THE PIXHAWK AUXILARY PINS 3,4,5,6 RESPECTIVELY AS I AM USING TWO OF THESE ENCODERS. THE OTHER WIRES ARE JUST Vcc & GND OF THE ENCODERS.S
FROM MY LITTILE KNOWLEDGE I HAVE CONNECTED THE Vcc & GND FROM THE ENCODERS TO THE Vcc & GND OF THE PIXHAWK.

EVEN AFTER CHANGING THE PARAMETERS I AM NOT GETTING ANT DATA LOGGED AS WELL AS THE rpm1 & rpm2 DOES NOT CHANGE FROM 0.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND A SOLUTION FOR MY PROBLEM PLEASE. I AM NEW TO THE PIXHAWK
