Neither. The 7M is old tech and the BN-880’s are junk.

Your questions have already been answered. Any ArduPilot supported flight controller will support a Rover/boat build. But an APM series should be avoided due to obsolescence. And an F4 series will limit flexibility. An F7 or H7 is your best bet. Soldering is likely required. And a $15 no-name GPS is a piece of shit.
Your favorite YouTube star seems to have enough budget and enthusiasm to include Cube, mRo, or CUAV hardware, but I haven’t seen any specifics on his builds.
If you want some specific recommendations that maximize value for dollar and minimize soldering, look at the QioTek ZealotH743 autopilot and Matek M10Q-5883 GPS/compass module.
i was wondering how to wire the GPS onto the pixhawks 2.4.8. there are ones where the wires are just together in one connector like this
and there are ones for pix32 with 3 different connectors like this
do they both work on the pixhawks 2.4.8 or do i need to change the connector.
Both modules will work from a ArduPilot perspective - but you will need to change the connector to work with the Pixhawk 2.4.8.
