Use Ultrasonic for altitude stability in indoor environment

hello

I use Pixhawk 2.4.8 for copter in indoor environment

I have a problem in altitude stability because i can’t use GPS
the sensor that is currently available for use in measuring height is ultrasonic sensor

how i can use it for my goal ?
I read that i should find a firmware supports indoor flight with ultrasonic sensors

is there firmware like that ? or i should make one !

Just read the documentation on “ArduCopter rage finders”.

Yes, all is possible. No need to change the firmware. Use ArduCopter 4.4.1 or newer in guided_no_gps flight mode
