We have manufactured a drone with MTOW of 3.3 KG. It is tuned and performs really well.
We came up with propeller guards very recently. Each propeller guards weighs around 40 grams each. When flown with propeller guards, the drone is not able to hold the position. I am attaching a log for a flight with propeller guards
For all right reasons, since the drone was tuned without the propeller guards it flies well without the propeller guards.
If we tune the drone with propeller guards, I presume the drone will fly well with propeller guards too.
Question 1: After tuning the drone with propeller guards, if we want to fly the drone without propeller guards, will we need to change the tuning parameters back to initial state?
Question 2: What’s the ideal way to configure the drone for us to be able to fly with or without propeller guards?
