UAV-CAN parameters not populating from drone id module?

Hello. I am have created a vtol running ardupiliot on a pixhawk 6c. I am attempting to configure remote id using Ardupiliot Remote ID- Architecture I have a esp32-s3 flashed with the provided firmware I am using uav-can for communication between the pixhawk 6c and esp32 utilizing a can tranceiver. I custom build the firmware using the ardupiliot Custom Firmware Builder I selected the latest plane firmware and selected opendroneID. (See Picture)

I was about to give up and call it a day when i fiddled with it a little more and got it almost working!

I got to the point at which i can connect via mavlink to my pixhawk 6c. Pass the can over mavlink using MAVlink-CAN1 button. The remote id now shows up as a can device.

The problem I am facing is that when I press menu followed by parameters I am expecting to get a dialog box with all the parameters of the Module. But on the other hand I get an empty dialog box.
