Tricopters an the People who Build Them?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with Tricopters and the torque requirements of the rear servo. I’m using 3508’s and 14" props but have no idea of the load placed on the Yaw servo.

I have an RCExplorer tricopter I’m in the process of getting back into the air after quite a time on the shelf, but it’s nowhere near that size.
There’s not much guidance on sizing the tail servo. If your setup is “direct drive”, which mine is, you would need a pretty strong servo, but most of the larger tri’s use a lever arm so you can get away with something smaller and cheaper.
Rule of thumb / safe bet is to use a servo intended for a similar size helicopter. So for a 600-size tricopter, use a swash servo from a 600-size helicopter.
