Throttle response

Hello all,

I have a problem with my drone. When I increase the throttle it is very responsive and work normally. However when I decrease the throttle it is very slowly decreasing. Like 2 or 3 second later. I calibrated rc and esc.
Do you have any guess why this is hapenning?

motors : no brand brushless motors.
ESC : AIR 40A 2-6S

Don’t know your system exactly, but my idea is that the engines are actively driven to a higher speed when the thrust is increased. When the thrust is reduced, however, they are not actively braked but simply left to run freely until the speed has passively dropped to the appropriate value. The time period depends on the rotational energy of the system.

so how can I solve this issue? Because this is the first time I am encountering something like this

FC matek f405

Suggest you contact the manufacturer. Their programming feature doesn’t appear to address this.

Both AM32 and BlHeli + variants have settings that affect deceleration response, so it’d be an easy fix with those. But this isn’t that.

but I use fc, motors and esc seperately in different drones.

so when I examine again, I discovered when I give a bit role altitude increases. any idea why this is hapening?
