Recently I got hold of a few of these lora modules. Wanted to test using it as sik telemetry modem. Set the bitratr to 4.8kbps and baudrate to 57600. Sending mavlink… on the receiving end, nothing…
Anyone tried this? Did you managed to succeed? How?
After some testing I think the problem is a faulty lora modem. Will test more.
Haven’t tried it, but I’m pretty sure it should be possible. ELRS uses LoRa for more than just telemetry.

Have a look at ExpressLRS Airport. It takes care of all the details so you don’t have to roll your own solution.

There is even support for mavlink and RC over the same RX&TX in master.

have a look at this project its fairly DIY at the moment but has some off the shelf stuff that supports it as well as Matek systems coming out with some MLRS modules in the near future. There is a setup page for using them as SIK radio replacements.
