Speedy Bee F405 UART6 Connector

Im trying to connect uart6 to the top of the board on speedy bee f405 wing but 5V is not there and not sure if tx6 rx6 also, there is some very vague note about tx6 and rx6 but I dont understand what they mean and there is nearly no documentation.

Does somebody have any experience with that ?

TX6/RX6 is normally used by the wireless board. If you want to use the connections yourself via the solder pads on the top, you have to move the UART6 jumper on the back of the wireless board.

This is IMHO well described in the manual: https://store-fhxxhuiq8q.mybigcommerce.com/product_images/img_SpeedyBee_F405_WING_APP/SpeedyBee_F405_WING_APP_Manual_V1.1-EN.pdf

Thank you but im just not that experienced with this could you please explain it to like a dumb person😅 sorry

What do you want to connect to TX6/RX6?

Guessing it’s related to this:

And UART6 looks like a great place to connect the GPS, along with UART2, which does indeed expose both TX and RX on the GH connector.

So I don’t know why I pinned up a bunch of hardware last night to test a weird config (that works).

The SpeedyBee F405 Wing has an extra GPS port (TX3/RX3). Why doesn’t Jiri connect the GPS where it is intended?

Implementing any special configurations without being familiar with the matter can only go wrong …
