Out of the box the elevons on Skywaker X8 seem a bit flimsy to me. I notice some people go so far as to replacing them but I just put thin carbon fiber strips across the trailing edge. I’ve always wondered how effective this is so I decided to mount some cameras on the wing to find out exactly how the elevons are working in flight. I thought others might find the video interesting.
It was difficult to get the three views in sync but they should be close. View it in 4k if you want to read the info on the HUD.
