Confirming this is what I turn on?
500mw on both frequencies?
You turn off the airplane mode switch, and all M1 to M6 will light up. There is only a white LED light below the L and R buttons, so there is no color switching function.
Yes, the transmission power is 500mW, which is converted to 27dBm.
The currently available information shows that it is as follows.
Not here. After opening the log menu, there are two folders on the far left: Software and Debug log. Select Debug log, only one switch displays as “保存日志” in Chinese. Open this log.
Yes, only in 6-gear configuration, under 3-gear, M4,5,6 under lock configuration, didn’t light up when toggle.
Is it possible to be controlled? I mean if can, I suggest when user toggle the buttons, white LED on and off to indicate the states.
Cannot be set. Not supporting control. You can consider turning off the airplane mode switch to use the color changing function on the M1 to M6 switches.
I do not understand, is it mentioned in the user manual?
If not, do you have a video to explain?
Airplane mode, do you mean flight mode?
Are you saying I must not assign flight mode to M1…M6, then M1 … M6 will have light toggle behavior for other usage?
Currently, I am partially in flight mode (M1,2,3) and other usages (M4,5,6).
I had tried turning off the flight mode under RC->system, no, no LED toggle for M4.

What is the RC firmware version shown in the video?
I did the same but did not have the same result. I am having RC firmware version V1.2.12.
On another note, the user will get the following message for an unknown reason.

Hi
Recently shifted from mk32 to unirc 7 pro
Did 4 flights with this setup. All went good.
But today post landing 37mins flight , while downloading the log all of a sudden telemetry stopped and video on the radio stopped.
We discounted the battery and connected it again still no response.
We did notice a spark in airunit when video and data froze. And now the fan on the airunit is also not working.
Input to air unit is 58V (14s) AS PER MANUAL.
@SIYI what shall be done
Sorry for any inconvenience caused to your use.
May I ask if the LED light on the top of your remote control remains green when images and data are lost?
Is the Air Unit still on board the aircraft? If convenient, please remove the Air Unit from the aircraft and smell for any burnt smell caused by component breakdown.
We did notice a spark and little burnt smell.
There is no light on airunit and the fan is also not working attaching a drive link of video- airunit connection to battery.

Hi please have a look
The below is from last weekend and part of an email to 3DXR, where the system was bought. I will like to present it here also in the light of a similar incident mentioned a few posts back:
After changing over from the Siyi MK32 system to the Siyi UniRC7 system we experienced a severe failure. This luckily happened om the ground prior to first test flight. Before this everything had worked flawlessly during setup and ground testing. The failure did not happen when powering up, but a few minutes into the session. The drone (a S1000 converted to Ardupilot) has successfully flown several times before this on the old MK32 system. Everything was set up with the original cables delivered with the UniRC7, and the air-unit was powered directly on 6s.
Upon closer inspection it looks like the air-unit has failed. There are no external signs of damage, but it smells strongly of burned electronics. We took the air-unit out of the drone and tried to power it up (nothing else connected to it) using a “smoke stopper”, but it immediately triggered the “smoke stopper”, acting like it has shorted out. We have not opened the air unit to verify this.
So far it looks like the rest of the systems in the drone is ok. It powers up without the air-unit (using an Agilent lab power supply, with current limit to trigger, if shorts are detected), but further inspection will tell if something else has failed
In the manual, it only mentions 8W; what is the recommended AWG cable size that should be used?
8W/7v = 1.14A
8W/76v = 0.1A
We faced similar issue. I have posted above but @SIYI hasnt responded.
Shouldn’t all airunits be recalled by @SIYI until some hardware changes are done
Hello! I have received feedback from the IRS regarding this issue through WeChat. We need to confirm the purchase batch of your equipment and send it back for testing and repair. If it’s convenient for you, you can handle it directly through me, or you can continue to communicate with the IRS about returning to the factory for repairs.
When do we expect a new airunit then ? Will be after you receive and fix the airunit or will you replace it with a new one ?
Clearly lots of people are facing issue some posted on YouTube also and I believe it’s the initial batches of airunits dispatched.
Has your UniRC 7 Pro Air Unit been repaired through 3DXR processing?
