Sik Radio Problem

Bump: Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi, I have 2 copters which use Sik Radio. I have 2 issues with both copters :

  1. I can’t use RTK corrections (GCS Failsafe kicks in if I use RTK corrections)

  2. I get really good range 1 way - the copter receives messages from the GCS up to 1km away but the GCS does not receive any data from the copter after 100m away.

Where do I start troubleshooting?

This is rxp packets received by the copter over 1km flight

These are the Sik Radio settings:

RTK (F9P factory firmware with NTRIP server)

Increase the baud rate to 115200 and double the air speed. Make sure you change SERIALx_BAUD to 115.

That MIGHT do it. You likely don’t have enough bandwidth. But increasing the speed has a negative effect on range. Everything is a tradeoff.

Your base station data looks pretty bad, with a bunch of satellites at 0dB.

I’ve done a 1km flight with RTK streaming (using a base station instead of NTRIP).
It seems like the drone received data packets for the entire trip.
Although I didn’t receive data back after it was 100m away.

I want to understand if it had a strong RTK connection the whole way. Below is a plot but I don’t know what RTK.Type and RTK.Length mean?

I did increase the baud rate but this didn’t improve the UAV to GC comms.
Using a local base station instead of the NTRIP server helped but didn’t fix the issue.
