Servo advice for UGV-ing full size recumbent trike?

I’m semi back after many years and I’d need some servo advice.
I’m tinkering on UGV-ing my full-size electric recumbent tricycle. Most of the stuff I have solved but not the steering. The 2 front wheels are linked with a linking bar which I think would be the right place to put the steering. I’d need a strong waterproof servo which holds torque when powered up but offers no resistance when powered down. Any ideas?

AFAIK you will have to make a custom quasi direct drive servo using a relatively large brushless motor and driver board like oDrive for that.

Mh, I see. Maybe that’s a good reason to start tinkering with those MIT style robot motors then…
