Sensor Position Offset Compensation

I don’t quite understand whether to use negative/positive values for compensation.

The flight controller is placed at the back of the frame on the left side.

For offset compensation I should set:
INS_POS1_X - negative value?
INS_POS1_Y - positive value?

Could someone clarify?
