For those interested in non-GPS navigation there is an interesting blog post here from Sam Hyams in which he describes in detail how he managed to implement RTH on a plane (using ArduPilot of course) using a LoRa telemetry radio that provides ranging.
I think this could at least be an interesting basis for future development. Nicely done Sam!
Yes, very promising. AP has some changes to the EKF3 coming that also allow it to support non-GPS position estimation using multiple Silvus radios. Silvus radios are very expensive though so if we could get something similar working with LoRa radios that would make it more accessible to more people.
