Running a custom firmware on a SITL simulator

Hi
I have a firmware file whose code I changed
I don’t have access to the previous source codes at the moment.
How can I run this firmware file in apj format tun on SITL?

I would appreciate it if you have any experience in this field

Hello,

You cannot. SITL build use another hal as we simulate the sensor inputs

Does it mean that there is no way to test our customized Firmware in the simulator?
