Roll and Pitch not working on quadcopter

I’m arming by holding the throttle down and to the right. I went through all of the suggestions mentioned and none worked.

I’m a bit confused about the solution that did work for the original poster of that thread. He says he wasn’t arming it properly so he was in calibration mode the whole time. What is calibration mode? I’m assuming its ESC calibration because I haven’t seen any other calibration mode.

Arming is not the issue.
Can you get the .bin log of that flight, upload it somewhere like dropbox, onedrive or similar, and share the link here.

The pitch, yaw and roll control with the RC controller are all working now. We had to increase the throttle some then it worked. We tried while secured to a test bench and it didn’t work, but in free flight it did.
