I am looking to include microwave rangefinder in my fixed wing plane as it can be mounted internally. I need it only for landing, specifically flare. What would be minimum range for rangefinder to be able to safely perform flare?
Let’s assume that drone will be flying at around 15m/s and descending at around 1m/s.
