Now a quick question is do I use 4 in one or elrs as I don’t know which one will be better for me. I am not flying that far away the farest flights I will ever do are around 75 feet away and about 20 feet up.
After that I need a receiver and I saw this one: Radiomaster R168 16ch FrSky D16 Compatible PWM Receiver
However it is out of stock and the other ones I find are 8 channels. I really want to use all the switches/knobes/channels so if you can help me find a receiver that is PWM compatible that will be amazing
Ardupilot uses serial receivers so PWM capable one is unnecessary. ELRS is one of the best RC systems for Ardupilot vehicles as it can provide bidirectional MAVLink telemetry. ELRS hardware is also supported by the mLRS project which offers higher telemetry throughput at the cost of reduced RC update rate though you will have to check their wiki for details as I haven’t used it.
ELRS offers much better range than older systems though it requires more reading of the documentation (just like Ardupilot )
That transmitter should be open sourced. It also adapts with the elrs transmitter on the back, but then your reciever has to be elrs compatible. With the adapter theres ones that hit 1000mw with low latency and high refresh rate. Cant give a length of transmission. Just have fun and fly safe.
