Question about flight plan

Hi,

If I want let quadcopter do figure of eight motion, the waypoints should by manual setting? It is diffcult to draw an ‘8’, I wonder if there is another way to do this.

Not really. You can create a complex set of waypoints with the Auto WP>Text and use an “8” but I don’t think it’s what you want. You could create 2 WP circles, same Auto WP tools, and edit the mission to create an 8.
Or do it manually like you are and be happy with it…

I set out to better understand how to leverage the MagFit tool and ended up with this script. I’d always assumed that long, straight legs of varying headings were best for MagFit, thinking that method would stabilize a GPS heading track for use with the tool. The dev team corrected my assumption, and it turns out, it’s better to fly long, sweeping curves. They recommended a large figure-8 pattern while varying throttle to some extent. thank you for your idea using 2 circle (different angle), almost perfect but the middle need to do manual.
