I have a Nova quad , The green light has no power to it from the gps , is there anyway of buying similar one then spending a 70 to 80 dollars on one.
I also found the motors donot spin fast enough on full throttle.to lift .I have calburated the escs and motors and transmitter.
any suggestions . I’d hate to scrap a 300 dollar quad .
Have you tried to plug it in to a Groundstation such as Ardupilot Mission Planner? That may help to diagnose the fault
Neither of these issues is likely to be Arducopter firmware related. You may want to check over on RCG where there is a very active CX-20/Nova thread for help. To answer your question, there are many GPS units that will work at a fraction of that cost if indeed that is the problem.
