Quadcopter X - flightaxis - Simulation

I would like to test drone configurations in RealFlight before testing expensive hardware in the field, so I followed the directions for using SITL with RealFlight:
https://ardupilot.org/dev/docs/sitl-with-realflight.html

As per the directions about loading a model, I downloaded the Quadcopter X and the parameter file. It seemed like everything worked, but I could not arm the drone. The drone does appear in RealFlight, and I did have a connection. I kept receiving a message that it could not be armed. There was an option to allow it to automatically arm even though it might create a crash. I tested it, and it crashed. Now the drone immediately flips over in RealFlight, and I can’t stop it. It resets and flips continuously. If I change the aircraft to another drone, it immediately takes off and specs out. I shut down Mission Planner and I still see this behavior when I restart RealFlight.

Can anybody tell me how to stop this behavior and get back to where I can arm the drone and fly Quadcopter X in simulation with SITL in Mission Planner?

Thank you.
