I have copter 4.4.4, herelink air and ground units, Orange cube 3+, ADS in board, Mission Planner 1.3.81. Motors not yet connected. I am getting the message “PreArm Generator: No Backend Driver”. I have not found any info on this to work towards arming. Any advice?

Have you turn on lua scripting?
Or, your ESC is digital type?
Seem like you tell ArduPilot you have a type of peripheral assembled and configured but lower layer cannot establish a healthy software link.
Or you flash a wrong type of firmware to your FCU? Not sure what is your Orange cube 3+ referring to.
