Hi, I recently bought PM08 power module rated for 200 amps power module. I am using it on a standard VTOL with 4 multicopter motor with ESC rated 50 amps max each (hence 4*50 = 200 amps max), and the fixed wing motor rated as 120 amps max. Assuming in transition phase, it happens so that the all motors are running at maximum throttle, the current required would be 320 amps max for lets say 10 secs. As there is no details about the power module behaviour above 200 amps I assumed it is unsafe to use it.
Now I have decided to use 2 power module one attached before multicopter motors and another before fixed wing motor. How would i connect this to my flight controller (cube orange or 6x) and how would i configure my parameters? My main question is to understand if both the power ports can be configured to read just one battery? Because if i turn on power 2 the controller assumes there is another battery and the capacity remaining will not be calculated accuratly.
The way is not to use two power modules but to extending the current range with a parallel connected shunt resistor. This would be cheaper and gives the correct values for the FC. Two or more PMs are used if two or more Batteries are installed.

Hey, thank for that quick response and this information.
