I had this issue, think its covered in this thread near the end:

Altitude in MinimOSD relative to Sea level ?!

In 3.5 i was used to see the altitude shown in the OSD as being relative to Home Alt. Means: Immediately after booting it was zero and was also reset to zero by arming. In 3.6.0 that behavior changed: At first, Alt is zero as usual, but after a 3D gps fix is aquired, the OSD shows GPS altitude, means absolute altitude above sea level. That is not reset after arming. Does anyone know, how to get the “old” behavior again ? By the way, the grazy thing is: MinimOSD firmware uses “mavlink_msg_vfr_…
