Pixhawk 6C with XRotor 40A ESC Calibration Help

I am having difficulties calibrating the XRotor 40A PWM based ESCs with my Pixhawk 6C setup. The receiver and transmitter seem to be well bound and the ESCs are able to be calibrated when I connect the PWM ports directly into the receiver. However, when I try to obtain PWM from the flight controller, the ESCs do not calibrate.
My best guess is that the Holybro PWM board I am using is not transmitting the PWM properly. If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it greatly!

After calibration use the motor test function in Mission Planner. Connect ESCs and Motors — Copter documentation

If the motors work properly with the test function then everything is okay. You won’t see PWM outputs to the motors unless everything is checked and armed so the motor test is the best way to do that without having to mess up all the safeties.
