I just bought a Pixhawk 2.4.8 RadioLink
in my first connect it to Mission Planner i have a Time Out

Is there a logical reason other than that it is ruined by the company?
I am very disturbed about it

In Windows Device Manager is there a Ardupilot Port showing?
I would never buy anything from Radiolink.
@dkemxr
yes , it shows COM3
OK, then set Com port to 3 and 115200 baud and try to connect.
@dkemxr
yes i did that all
and it is Time Out
Did Device Manager show “Ardupilot (COM3)” ? It says Ardupilot?
@dkemxr
oh no
it says “USB Serial Device COM3”
what should be the problem ??
Did you load firmware to the autopilot?
@manavgandhi17
no , i didn’t connect to mission Planner yet
Install QGroundControl. Click the big Q in the upper left and then Vehicle Setup>firmware. Connect the Pixhawk and select Ardupilot, Chibios, Multirotor. If it asks for the specific firmware pick Pixhawk1.
If it’s successful disconnect and then try Mission planner again.
Upload firmware via Mission Planner (or QGC) like the documentation says.
Mission Planner is not likely to work. Who knows what Radiolink has on there for a bootloader. Not a reputable company. Their Pixhawk firmware page is now blank. It used to show some old 3.6.x version.
@dkemxr
thaxks for you
i will do what you said and i will tell you the result
but on pixhawk they said “firmware fmuv3”
and you said install pixhawk 1 firmware
what the right one ?
The answer depends on what version of the Pixhawk they are now building. If it has 2 IMU’s then it’s Pixhawk1, if it has 1 IMU it’s fmuv3. Try Pixhawk1 1st.
@dkemxr
As a newbie afraid of change from what they say on the box
Because I think that ruins the piece
But I think you are expert enough to advise me on that
You can try fmuv3 1st if you like. It won’t be bricked either way. If flashing is successful we can get more detailed information from Mission Planner about that Flight Controller.
@dkemxr
it is Done
thanksss alot my friend
now it can connect to mission planner
OK. From Mission Planner post a screen shot of the Setup>Mandatory Hardware> HW ID screen after connecting.
@dkemxr
Back soon my friend
I apologize for the delay in responding
this is the screen which you said
now i ended the calibration
the data screen shows me “Unhelthy Airspeed”
what can i do ?
thanks for your time
