Pixhawk 2.4.8 motor can only be powered by servo rail, but not by the Power Port

I have follow this

https://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-powering-the-pixhawk.html

But my Pixhawk 2.4.8 can only be powered by servo rail, both the board and the motors are powered:

servo-power-wiring

If I connect the battery to the Power Port :

then only the board is powered, not the motors.

I am wondering if I missed some either hardware or software switch?

Or is my board faulty?

Thanks.

I still have this trouble, anybody knows how to solve it? Thanks.

This is sort of by design, but it actually indicates a poor clone that likely has no proper isolation circuitry.

The positive bus on the servo rail should be electrically isolated from the rest of the autopilot, which allows you to power the rail via BEC at whatever voltage is required by your servos/peripherals. It should NOT backfeed the board on any proper design I’m aware of…

The power connector should only supply board voltage.

Thanks for the tip.

And I just found in the above link:

Warning

Pixhawk does not supply power to the servo rail. Powering the servo rails is normally done by an ESC or alternatively a separate source such as a BEC

So, my original intention to power the ESC and motor from the Pixhawk board is wrong.
