I have a pixhawk 2.4.8. When I connect the card to the misson planner, the altitude value decreases over time and reaches negative values.
(drone cannot take off, makes unstable maneuvers and crashes)

Try setting BARO_OPTIONS to 1.

The problem persists. The B/E lights initially blink orange and then turn off completely.
