PIDR PIDP in ArduPlane

Hello everyone.

I am trying to make sense of the PIDP, PIDR messages in the logs.
Can the PIDR.Act and PIDR.Tar be plotted and compared to tune RLL_RATE_P and RLL_RATE_D directly? Basically, is it right to assume PIDR.Act (plane) as RATE.R (copter), and PIDR.Tar (plane) as RATE.RDes (copter), and follow the same ideology of comparing the curves and tuning the RLL_RATE, as we do for ATC_RAT_RLL for copters?
