Picking first wing flightcontroller

Hi,
I am planning on making my first rc airplane. I am looking for a good and powerful flight controller that is preferably under 100 dollars. I have been looking into the F405 Vtol and the speedybee f405. I am going to use gps, barometer, maybe camera and would possibly like to test some copter and vtol designs later on. I really dont care that much for OSD.

Sorry for not being able to provide more information about what I want since I really don’t now what really differs between all the different fc’s.

F4 based Flight Controllers are featured limited. Look at a H7 based board. The Matek H743-wlite fit’s your budget. Holybro Kakute H743-wing is another.

The F405 is fine for basic flight but I agree the H743 is more capable.

On the other hand the Speedybee F405 Wing is $40, while the H743-wlite and Kakute H743-wing are more like $100.
