Hello every one im sorry to bother but i really need some help , im looking for a certain param called (vtail_outpot) in full parameter list but i can not find it i have tried planner=>layout=advanced ,… but still cannot find it im using version 1.3.82 thanks for ur help any ideas?
I believe “VTAIL_OUTPUT enabled” in the wiki means that there are servo outputs assigned for functions VTailLeft and VTailRight.
https://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/parameters.html#servo10-function-servo-output-function
Hey , dunno but i dont think so
VTAIL_OUTPUT appears deprecated as of Plane-4.2 (in favor of the logic mentioned by @kd0aij), and in fact was on its way out of practical use as early as 3.8.
The wiki mistakenly still references the now unused/removed parameter in the MIXING_GAIN paragraph.
So what should i do where can i find a parameter that does the same job
There isn’t one. You just assign servo output as described above and use the MIXING* parameters to adjust behavior as described in the docs.
I have problems in stabilize mode and fbwa , rudders doesnt work together by the way im working on a vtail
Plane … the only mode that every think is correct is manual mode any tips?
You have almost certainly reversed RC transmitter (input) channels where reversing servo (output) channels was a more appropriate choice.
Proper configuration is described here:
https://ardupilot.org/plane/docs/guide-vtail-plane.html
Can you make it more obvious more detailed
Did you reverse the rudder or elevator channel on your RC transmitter? If so, undo that.
Then follow the linked documentation above to achieve correct behavior in FBWA. I don’t know how to make that particular series of steps more clear than the already written documentation.
Ok i will try it thank you bro
I did same as u said but still every thing is working on manual but on stabilzed and fwba still not moving the right way rudders should not move when aileron moves
