Oscillations during Alt-Hold

new 10 Inch quad set up using Methodic Configurator.
Initial tuning in Stabilise went OK , had to drop Pitch and roll PID’s by 50% as per the wiki to stop oscillations.


I have tried lowering PSC_VELZ_P by 50%, PSC_POSZ_P is already at 1 ( apparent minimum )

Any pointers on where to go from here ?

Set the Hover thrust parameter to .06 and set these accordingly:
PSC_ACCZ_I,0.12
PSC_ACCZ_P,0.06

I suppose you haven’t reached the Notch filter setup in the configurator also.

@dkemxr that is explained here and done automatically by the software on step 20.

Post a .zip file with the files from the vehicle configuration directory.

@dkemxr I tried those values, and that sees to have done the trick. Please enlighten me how you got to those values ?
