Octocopter motors won’t stop spinning

I recently made an octocopter using pixhawk 2.4.8 but when I do a motor test in mission planner the motor will not stop spinning and I have to unplug the battery to make it stop.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe those can or willing to help are not illusionist or fortune teller or magician. No video or no flight log file, you have to wait.

Are you using analog or digital ESC?
Analog, have you done the ESC calibration?
What software are you using to do the motor test?
