I changed all of the parameters to record the log files but nothing shows up, as shown below. I’m not using a microSD card, is one necessary?
yes, a microSD card is necessary.

Default parameters will work for Flight Controllers with or w/o Sd cards so you likely made a mistake by changing any related parameters. What Flight Controller do you have? If it has a card reader you need a card. If it doesn’t obviously you don’t.
