I do not see a power wire for the esc’s, just signal and ground. Should there be one for the esc’s to power them off the rail?
No, power as in battery power to the escs, cube and all. Your esc signal and - minus are correct.

got her! she responding to throttle commands. one of the things i did was disable the are switch, but I was still having the same issue. Thanks for the response guys, if I run into trouble ill be sure to post, and what ever learn ill pass on
also I didnt know in order to arm the throttle that I had to hold down the throttle stick to the right for 3 seconds and she unlocks. havent had to do anything like that since helicopter servo calibration.
