neither do I, your GPS not being detected could be serial port config hanged, you should check that you still have a serial port with protocol 5

Is Plane supported? I compiled your test branch and loaded it onto my Kakute F7, but I don’t see any of the MSP_OSD* parameters in mission planner…
Should work please double check you used the correct branch test/msp, check if ardupilot/libraries/AP_MSP/* exists

you’re right, compile for kakute f7 fails. I think the problem is the kakute has a lot of disabled features, let me check it out

ok, our only way to know whats going on is capture traffic when it’s connected to betaflight, we need the hardware to do it, we might be able to do it with 2 ftdi adapters and a little luck and soldering or better you’d need a logic analyzer to capture the traffic on tx and rx lines
