Motors will not run Pixhawk 2.1

Hello,

I have a pixhawk 2.1 that will not spin up the motors.
When I first turn it on, all the lights are good, but the motors beep every second.
When I push the safety switch it gives a musical tone then when armed, they wont spin.

Anyone know a solution to this problem, or need more information.

Thanks

Do the motors stop beeping and make a different sound when you press the safety switch or do they keep making a steady beep?

Once the safety switch is pressed, the 1hz beep stops.

I’ve tried in motor test, but the motors just beep and twitch.

Just to verify the drone is basically silent after you press the safety switch? Have you tried to do an esc calibration? You could try the all at once method. Here is a video link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYoknRObfOg remember to take the props off!

I did do the ESC calibration. All the motors do a musical tone after the safety button is pushed, then it goes silent.

@Gramslam,

My guess is that the pwm output range to the ESCs doesn’t match the ESCs for some reason. I would have expected Shawn’s suggestion to do an ESC calibration woudl resolve this but some ESCs can’t be calibrated. It’s also possible (perhaps likely) that a parameter change has messed up the output range being sent.

I think if a dataflash log could be posted here we might figure it out.

Please forgive the noobery, but how do I download the log file?

@Gramslam,

No problems, it is described here.
