Motors don't spin when armed

I am using Mission Planner version 1.3.62 with Arducopter V3.7.0
to set up a Kakute F7. After completing setup, the motors don’t
spin when armed.
I have raised MOT_SPIN_ ARM TO .2 AND EVEN .3
AND MOT_SPIN_MIN TO .3 AND .5
Armed shows up in M.P. quick screen and I can increase
throttle and make them spin, but at min. throttle they are stopped.

Are you using Dshot ESCs?

If you follow this, at what percentage do the motors spin?

No, just normal setting for esc

Thanks, I read that and even a throttle percent of 30
the motors don’t spin when test button is pressed.

Did ESC calibration complete successfully?

Yes, I did it according to Arducopter write up.
Just for fun I rechecked my Pixracer, and it spins fine
on arming, and motor tests all spin up fine. This little
quad was formerly on Inav and esc’s were calibrated
one at a time, so should be good.

I can’t tell if you’re saying you calibrated the ESCs with iNav, or ArduCopter? I’d definitely do it with ArduCopter, after completing RC calibration.

If still stuck, maybe post a detailed hardware description and link to a config dump.

Also try the all-at-once method if you’ve not done that

I recalibrated in std. manner with thr. full, disconnect, reconnect which
completes calib. and then restart. Then used esc. calib. in M.P., still
didn’t work. So I started from scratch redoing the above and then went
thru all the MP calibrations from the start and then it worked. Both
start up from arm and also motor test each motor, which never worked
before. So what prevented it from working I’ll never know, but thanks
to you and others, problem solved. Ready to fly.
