Hey! I recently purchased TMotor MN5006 450 kv for my rig to replace janky motors paired to a 30A Esc with the following specs: 30A constant, 35A @10S burst.
The new motor is spec at 26A peak current, would my current ESC handle the demand. My thinking is yes (with 15.5 props on 6S) and open to anyone’s feedback regarding this configuration.
What’s the take-off weight of the craft?
I would say a tad bit under 3.03kg.
Motor at max with that setup is just a bit over 30A but I suppose you won’t be flying continuously at max. If this was a new build you would plan for higher capacity ESC’s but those will probably do.
