Good Evening. I’m using a Pixhawk x6 flight controller and attempting to do some mapping using Mission Planner. When I plug the drone in to the cpu, plug the battery in and turn on the remote the computer recognizes the drone and the stick inputs. Everything appears fine.
But after I write the map plan to the drone and disconnect from Mission Planner I get a constant beeping from the esc’s and the drone will not arm. Has anyone experienced this before?
These two facts seems unrelated to me, it is normal that the ESCs beep while disarmed… which pre-arm error messages appear when you try to arm? Check this out on the Messages tab of Misison Planner.
Many ESCs have a idle beeper, if they are left powered on for 10 minutes or so they start beeping. Some will let you arm and keep going, others won’t and you need to unplug the battery and plug it back in. Once you’ve written the mission to the drone you can safely power it down and the mission will still be there.
