Midflight barometer recalibration idea

So supposing you can change ALT_OFFSET midflight, would it be possible to do so automatically with a barometer on the ground that remains stationery?

You mean like RTK-GPS but with a baro?

Anyway, I would like to try to make a script that updates Ardupilot’s barometer every 10 or so seconds via telemetry from mission planner but I have no idea how to do this, plus it would require some kind of program on the FC.

You need a lua script on the FC side. And you need to transmit the air pressure at ground speed via mavlink to the vehicle.
